ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to issue a Legal Heir Certificate of Late A.Sivaraman, who died on 09.08.1993 at New No.4, Old No.9, Jeevarathinam street, Jaganathan Nagar, Arumbakkam, Chennai - 600 106 in favour of the petitioner on the application No.TN720250710713. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the daughter of late.A.Sivaraman and one Lakshmi and that while the petitioner's mother was alive, petitioner's father performed second marriage with one Meenakshi, who is none other than the sister of the petitioner's mother and through her he had

three daughters and one son. The petitioner's father died interstate on 09.08.1993 and the second wife viz., Meenakshi also died on 06.11.2018. While so, the petitioner made an application dated 10.07.2025 to the respondents for issuance of legal heir certificate to the petitioner's mother, the petitioner and her sister and also the children of the second wife Meenakshi, as the legal heirs of late A.Sivaraman. However, no order has been passed by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed

within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 10.07.2025, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
