Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1, 3 to 6 to constitute an Independent Technical Expert Committee, comprising persons with proven dam safety expertise, to conduct a comprehensive technical audit of the work executed by respondent No.8, in renewal of sluice shutters at Stanley Reservoir under Agreement No.2/SE/2024-25, including verification of the quality, material specifications, and weight of all fabricated and installed shutter(s) as against contract and statutory requirements, investigation of reported leakages, identification of causes for delay in project completion and submission of a detailed report to this Court on all such findings, safety and tender compliance and recommended remedial steps.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Having heard the learned senior counsel for the petitioner at length, we are not satisfied that the petitioner has come with proper research to satisfy the Court that the specifications given in the tender notice are contrary to the standard technical specifications for the purpose of installation, renewal and erection of sluice shutters.
