Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to fix the petitioner's seniority from the date of completion of his qualifying service in the cadre of Steno-Typist Grade-III i.e. five years as ordered by the Hon'ble Division Bench of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on 11.01.2024 in W.A.(MD) No.1402 of 2014 with all service and monetary benefits.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents to fix the petitioner's seniority from the date of completion of his qualifying service in the cadre of Steno-Typist Grade-III i.e. five years as ordered by the Hon'ble Division Bench of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on 11.01.2024 in W.A.(MD) No.1402 of 2014 with all service and monetary benefits.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.09.2025, in the light of the order passed by the Division Bench of Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on 11.01.2024 in W.A.(MD) No.1402 of 2014, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and giving him personal opportunity of hearing, and to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
