This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 216 days in filing the above civil miscellaneous appeal against the judgment and decree dated 03.12.2024 made in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.866 of 2020 by the learned Chief Judge, Small Causes Court, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.M.B.Raghavan, learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 216 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 216 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
