The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.10.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 194 of BNS later altered into Sections 103(1) of BNS in Crime No.210 of 2025, registered on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he is the friend of the deceased and on the date of occurrence, they consumed liquor, thereafter a wordy quarrel arose between them, due to which, the petitioner assaulted the deceased, strangulated him and pushed him into the dam, which leads to the death of the deceased. Hence, the case.

3. It is seen that, this Court earlier dismissed the petitioner's bail petition on 31.10.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.29731 of 2025 by stating the following reasons:

Considering the submissions made on both sides, grave nature of offence, taking note of the fact that the investigation of this case is pending and if the petitioner is enlarged on bail, there is possibility of hampering the investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. Now, it is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the investigation in this case is in same stage.

5. In view of the above submissions that the investigation in this case is still pending and there is no change in circumstances, this Court is not 2/4

inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
