The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to transfer the petitioner's complaint dated 29.09.2025 from the file of the third respondent to the file of the Central Crime Branch, Land Grabbing Cell.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that legal opinion has been obtained from the Legal Advisor to the first respondent, Commissioner of Police, Chennai and that the petitioner's complaint dated 29.09.2025 will be transferred to the file of the Central Crime Branch, Land Grabbing Cell, within a period of two weeks from today. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
