Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to direct the respondents to transfer the case registered in Crime No.75 of 2024 on the file of the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent or any other officer appointed by him not lowering the rank of Inspector of Police and re-investigate the case in the manner known to law.

ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that though this petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to transfer the case in Crime No.75 of 2024 from the file of the second respondent to the first respondent, the investigation has already been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry, in CC.No.2131 of 2025 and therefore, the question of transfer, does not arise.

2. Recording the above submissions made by the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, this criminal original petition stands closed.
