ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 22.10.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the rectification in the revenue records and to issue a
fresh patta in the name of the petitioner and others. 2.
Heard Mr.V.Chandraprabhu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader for Respondents 1, 3 to 5 and Mr.S.Ravichandran , learned Additional Government Pleader for 2nd respondent. 3.
The specific case of the petitioner is that the subject property was acquired through various registered Sale deeds in the year 1967. Thereafter, the property was in possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and his family members. The name of a temple was included in the patta and therefore, a representation was made in this regard by the petitioner. It is the specific case of the petitioner that the Commissioner of HR&CE has clarified that a wrongful entry has been made in the name of the temple. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation on 22.10.2025 with all supporting documents for rectification. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 4.
Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there
shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 22.10.2025 after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the HR&CE Department and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
