ORDER

The petitioner came forward with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to open the price bid, pursuant to the tender issued on 22.09.2025.

2. Ms. Athiniveda appearing for the petitioner alleged that in the tender, there are two tenderers, namely, the petitioner and the second respondent. She stated that in the technical bid, both of them were found eligible and that the petitioner had given an attractive discount in the price bid to become L-1 in the tender. She stated that as no further progress was made, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Taking notice of the allegations, I directed Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel for the first respondent to get instructions.

4. When I took the matter for hearing, Ms.Athiniveda has produced the letter of acceptance, which is scanned and extracted hereunder:- 2/5

5. As the relief sought for has been granted to the petitioner, no further orders are necessary other than recording the proceeding of the Commissioner, Tiruvallur Municipality dated 12.11.2025.

6. The Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. 27.11.2025 vsg To 1.
