Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to demolish the illegal structure erected by the 4th and 5th respondents comprised in Survey No.1356, L.R. No.334, situated at Door No.9, GST Road, St. Mount, Chennai 16.

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) It appears that petitioners are having a personal grievance against private respondents for having made illegal construction and having already filed a suit against private respondents, petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of direction to official respondents to take action against private respondents since they are running an educational institution.

2. We are not inclined to entertain this writ petition because petitioners' main grievance appears to be of private nature, for which, they have already taken recourse to civil proceedings.

3. Petition is dismissed. W.M.P.No.227 of 2026 filed by petitioners to join together and file single writ petition is allowed as separate court fee has been paid. Consequently, other interim applications are also dismissed.
