ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the fourth respondent to receive, process and register the fresh Sale Deed to be presented by the Petitioner in respect of the properties covered under Patta No.2267, in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that when the petitioner has presented the sale deed in respect of the properties covered under Patta No.2267 for registration, the fourth respondent orally informed the petitioner that the document cannot be received as they have no jurisdiction to register the same. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.T.Gowthaman, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.M.Roshan Atiq, learned Government's Counsel and Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel for respondents 1 to 5 submitted that no sale deed has been received by the fourth respondent as stated by the learned counsel for petitioner and in the event of the petitioner presents the sale deed, the same will be received, processed and thereafter registered if it is in accordance with

law.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also considering the submission of the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 to 5, the petitioner is directed to present the sale deed afresh along with all the documents and necessary stamp duty forthwith before the fourth respondent. On such presentation of the sale deed by the petitioner, the fourth respondent is directed to receive and register the document in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of such sale deed.
