The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection for fencing the petitioner's property, based on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.10.2025. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the property comprised in Survey No.85/6B, measuring an extent of 1.53 acres, situated at Veeranakuppam Village, Uthangarai Taluk, Krishnagiri District. He further submitted that the private respondents are causing hindrance to the petitioner in putting up a fence around the said land. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 09.10.2025 to respondents 1 and 2 and despite the issuance of CSR, there has been no progress. Hence, the present petition has been filed. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the representation given by the petitioner on 09.10.2025, an enquiry is being conducted in C.S.R.No.464 of 2025 and that the matter appears to be a boundary dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. 2/4

Having heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and upon perusal of the materials available on record, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties, including respondents 3 and 4 and to dispose of C.S.R.No.464 of 2025, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition (Criminal) is disposed of. No costs.
