Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent not to grant FL2 License at Door No.15/12A, Periyar Nagar, Kancheepuram to Chengalpat, Highways, Kancheepuram - 631501 based on the petitioner representation dated 23.09.2025 and 14.11.2025.

Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for R1, R2, R4 & R5, and Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice for R3.

The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that this writ petition has become infructuous, as the FL2 licence has already been issued to the Secretary of Tvl.Jothi Malar Sports and Recreation, Chinna Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram Taluk & District. In support of this, the learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the 1st respondent's proceedings dated 12.11.2025.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives in this writ petition. Therefore, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. No costs.
