ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 25.10.2025 and to pass appropriate orders, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.Heard Mr.B.A.Prabhu Shankar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of

3/7 the petitioner and Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4.

3.It is seen from records that the District Revenue Officer has already passed an order on 21.12.2016, directing for the sub division of properties. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner claims that he is entitled for cancellation of the patta issued in respect of Kovai North Taluka Vallakinaru Village in S.F.No.283 1A, 283/1B, 284/1 and 284/2 under UDR resurvey and the sub division of the same was to be cancelled and further, according to the petitioner, he is entitled to have the sub-division patta to an extent of 0.90 acres in S.F.No.283/1 A, 283/1B, 284/1, 284/2 in Vellakinar Village in Kovai North Taluka Coimbatore.

4.The grievance of the petitioner is that the order passed by the 1 st respondent was not followed up and therefore, he has approached this Court. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and

4/7 the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 4 th respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 25.10.2025 in line with the earlier order passed by the District Revenue Officer and convey the decision to the petitioner and do the needful, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction.
