ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation

made by the petitioner on 31.10.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for the correction in the extent of the property mentioned in the patta with respect to the subject property. 2.

Heard Mr.S.Sridharan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, for the respondent.

The grievance of the petitioner is that in the patta that was issued to the petitioner, the extent of the property has been wrongly mentioned and therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondent on 31.10.2025 to correct the extent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the fact sand circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 31.10.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of

eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
