ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to pay difference in Gratuity based on 14th wage settlement dated 24.08.2022with 10 percent interest to the petitioner.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he joined in the service of the

respondent corporation as a Conductor and rendered 34 years of service. At the time of retirement, he did not settle any terminal benefits. Based on wage settlement, pay was revised and settled other terminal benefits. But difference in gratuity amount was not paid. Seeking difference in gratuity with interest, the petitioner made a representation on 27.09.2025 and the same is not considered. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 27.09.2025 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
