ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent corporation to pay petitioners share of death benefits due and payable to her deceased son namely R.Tamilselvan who died on 03.07.2021 while he was in

the service of the respondent corporation.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioners son died on 03.07.2021 while he was in the service of the respondent Corporation. The death benefits remain unpaid till date. She is the Class-I legal heir. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent on 19.11.2024 for her share in the death benefits. However, so far, the same has not been disbursed. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent

to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
