ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that though the petitioners have come up with this criminal original petition seeking quashment of the FIR in Crime No.180 of 2025, pending on the file of the 1st respondent, investigation in this case has already been completed and a final report came to be filed in C.C.No.807 of 2025 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Cheyyar.

At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioners sought permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition with liberty to file a fresh petition challenging the said final report. An endorsement to the said effect was also made by the learned counsel for the petitioners in the petition today.

3. In view of the above, this criminal original petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh petition challenging the said final report, if so aggrieved. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
