PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of the Courts Act, 1971 praying to punish the respondents for noncompliance of the order passed in W.P.No.15732 of 2025 dated 29.04.2025.

ORDER

On the side of the respondents, it had been stated that there has been compliance of the directions given in the writ petition and in this connection, an order signed on 08.07.2025 in Na.Ka.No.033349/C4/E1/2025 had been produced. A copy has also been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner raised a grievance that, in the order, there is no reference to the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No(s).3176-3177 of 2022 and Civil Appeal No(s).3178-3179 of 2022 both dated 25.04.2022 in P.Ranjitharaj Vs. The State of Tamil Nadu & Ors. It is stated that there is no reference to the orders of this Court.

3.The petitioner may challenge the order now passed on these grounds and on other grounds, as advised. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed. But however, that would not be an indication that there has been a complete compliance in letter and spirit. 4.It is also informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that though the order had been signed on 08.07.2025, the copy of the order had been served only during the Court proceedings / 09.01.2026 to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
