ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to conduct a survey of the land morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition.

2. The petitioner has submitted an application with the respondents seeking to survey and demarcate the boundaries pertaining to the properties disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, which, according to the petitioner, is owned by him. Since the said application dated 08.06.2025 has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.P.Murugan Rajan, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, and he would submit that in view of on-going SIR process, the respondents require 12 weeks' time for surveying and demarcating the boundaries. He would further submit that in case if there is any objection from neighbouring land owners, the respondents may be directed to provide an opportunity of personal hearing to them as well before passing final orders.

4. After hearing the rival submission, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- __________Page 2 of 4

(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries pertaining to Survey No.738/15, measuring 0.0.9700 Hectares; S.No.738/3 measuring 0.1.1900 Hectares; and S.No.738/4, measuring 0.0.3000 hectares, situated at Adilam village, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri district, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
