ORDER

The revision petitioner has filed this petition to direct the Subordinate Judge, Tambaram to dispose the HMOP No. 117 of 2023 as expeditiously as possible.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the respondent had sought divorce in the year 2023. Taking advantage of the same, the respondent has been dragging the proceedings for nearly 2 years. The case is still pending at the stage of respondent side evidence. In order to prolong the proceedings, the respondent has neither appeared before the Court, nor taken steps to proceed with the case. Hence, he prays for early disposal of the case.

3. Considering that the case has been pending since the year 2023, the learned trial Judge is directed to dispose of the HMOP.No.117 of 2023, on the file of the Subordinate Court, Tambaram, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
