ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the respondents and in particular the 3 rd respondent, to mutate and restore the entire revenue records with respect to the subject property in the name of the petitioner and the other joint holders.
2.Heard Mr.A.V.Raja, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
3/7 petitioner and Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the father of the petitioner was the owner of the property and he settled the property in favour of the petitioner and his sister through a Settlement Deed dated 19.07.1990. Thereafter, land acquisition proceedings were initiated and the same became a subject matter of challenge before this Court in W.P.No.32286 of 2014. The writ petition was allowed and the acquisition proceedings came to be quashed by an order dated 02.02.2018 and the same was further confirmed in W.A.No.51 of 2019 dated 11.01.2019.
4.The petitioner submitted a representation seeking for mutation of revenue records in his name. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and
4/7 the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 21.07.2025 and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
