This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the proceedings/Charge sheet in Special S.C.No.41/2024 1/3

for the offences under sections 366, 342 and 450 of IPC and under sections 5(l), 5(j)(ii), 6, 5 (k) of the POCSO Act pending on the file of the District Court, Cuddalore.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though this petition has been filed seeking quashment of the proceedings, it would suffice if a direction is issued to the trial Judge to complete the trial at the earliest.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, a direction is issued to the learned trial Judge to dispose of the case in Spl.S.C.No.41 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
