2. A blissfully vague petition, styled as public interest litigation, has been filed seeking general direction and roving enquiry into the petitioner's allegation that there are many hostels situated in Namakkal District, which are illegally constructed and operated.
3. In the absence of there being any specific allegation and material in support thereof, no direction can be issued.
4. A reference has been made to a communication dated 17.07.2025 of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Namakkal to the District Child Welfare Officer, Namakkal District, referring to the complaint made by the petitioner.
5. Leaving it open to the authority concerned to consider the complaint of the petitioner, the petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
