Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to prepare a year-wise panel for promotion to the post of High School Headmaster from the post of B.T.Assistants with those who posses the T.E.T Qualification strictly in accordance with the orders of this Court in W.P.No.17895 of 2022 dated 20.10.2022, and the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.313 of 2022 dated 02.06.2023, as confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.1389 of 2025 and other batch cases arising out of SLP No.37105 of 2023 dated 2/7

01.09.2025 and also in consonance with the earlier direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 18.04.2023 in C.P.(C ) Diary No.6415 of 2021 and other batch cases, wherein the Government of Tamil Nadu was ordered to promote the candidates based on merit within the time frame fixed by this Court.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondents herein to prepare a year-wise panel for promotion to the post of High School Headmaster from the post of B.T.Assistants with those who posses the T.E.T Qualification strictly in accordance with the orders of this Court in W.P.No.17895 of 2022 dated 20.10.2022, and the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.313 of 2022 dated 02.06.2023, as confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.1389 of 2025 and other batch cases arising out of SLP No.37105 of 2023 dated 01.09.2025 and also in consonance with the earlier direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 18.04.2023 in C.P.(C) Diary 3/7

No.6415 of 2021 and other batch cases, wherein the Government of Tamil Nadu was ordered to promote the candidates based on merit within the time frame fixed by this Court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to prepare a year-wise panel for promotion to the post of High School Headmaster from the post of B.T.Assistants with those who posses the T.E.T Qualification in accordance with the orders of this Court in W.P.No.17895 of 2022 dated 20.10.2022, and the order of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.313 of 2022 dated 02.06.2023, as confirmed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal No.1389 of 2025 and other batch cases arising out of SLP No.37105 of 2023 dated 01.09.2025 and also in consonance with the earlier direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India dated 18.04.2023 in C.P.(C) Diary No.6415 of 2021 and other batch cases, wherein the Government of Tamil Nadu was ordered to promote the candidates based on merit and, after issuance of notice to the petitioners and giving them personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4/7

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
