3.The Assistant Commissioner, HR and CE Department, 4.The Executive Officer, Arulmighu Venugopalaswami Thirukoil, Maduravasal, Uthukottai Taluk, Respondents PRAYER Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd to 4th respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2024 based on the order passed by the 1st respondent in R.P.Nos.353, 354, 355, 356, 357 and 358 of 2023 dated 05.07.2023 and direct the 4th respondent to fix rent in respect of the lands situated in Maduravasal village, comprised in survey No.181, Arani Taluk Thiruvallur District, measuring an extent of 0.17 cents, expeditiously within stipulated time period.

ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is to consider the petitioners' representation dated 12.03.2024, based on the order passed by the first respondent in R.P.Nos.353,354,355,356,357 and 358 of 2023 dated 05.07.2023

and consequently direct the 4th respondent to fix rent in respect of the lands situated in Maduravasal Village, comprised in Survey No.181, Arani Taluk,

2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the jurisdictional Inspector has already inspected the properties and the report has been submitted. They are now awaiting the valuation report. Once the valuation report is obtained, the fair rent will be fixed in accordance with law. The said exercise will be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a web copy of the order, without waiting for the certified copy of the order.

3. By recording the above submission and directing the third respondent, the Executive Officer to cooperate in that regard, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
