Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Criminal Original Petition. He further submitted that the petitioner is a lady and her presence before the trial Court may be dispensed with. The learned counsel also made an endorsement for withdrawing the Criminal Original Petition.

2. Taking into consideration the submissions made, the presence of the petitioner before the trial Court viz., Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai pertaining to S.T.C.No.190 of 2021, is dispensed with. However, the petitioner shall be duly represented by a counsel on all hearing dates. She undertakes to file an affidavit before the trial Court that she will co-operate for the speedy disposal of the case and she will appear before the trial Court whenever her presence is insisted by the trial Court for the progress of trial.
