ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide electricity connection to our residential house situated at No.179/188 Verivada Salai, Kallukuzhi, Puliyankulam Village, Coimbatore within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner made an application to the respondents to the 4th respondent on 02.01.2024 seeking domestic residential electricity connection by enclosing all the necessary documents and thereby the petitioner was called upon to submit a No Objection Certificate from the revenue Department. Hence, the petitioner had again made a representation to the respondents 1 to 3 on 30.09.2024 seeking NOC and the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Government Advocate and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse order is passed against the 6th respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 02.01.2024 and 30.09.2024 after providing opportunity to the petitioner and the 6th respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
