O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the Tahsildar to deal with the representation submitted by the petitioner, wherein, he is seeking for issuance of patta.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the subject property was purchased by her mother through a Sale Deed dated 10.06.1952 registered as document No.1579/1952, on the file of the SRO, Sriperumbudur. The petitioner's mother passed away on 12.01.2011, leaving behind the petitioner and her sister and they were in possession of the subject property. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent to issue a joint patta. Since the same did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed. 2/4

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of this case, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit an online application to the Tahsildar and the Tahsildar shall deal with the online application submitted by the petitioner, on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to all interested parties and pass final orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs. 25.11.2025 rka 3/4
