ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a direction, directing the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.12.2024 and consequently, re-convey or issue no objection certificate to petitioner's property at Plot No.2 of Sri Balaji Nagar admeasuring an extent of 4090 square feet comprised in Survey No.223, Padikuppam, Chennai in pursuance to G.O.Ms.No.136 dated 10.10.2023 within a timeframe as fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property was purchased by the petitioner vide registered sale deed from one Ganesan and Mahalashmi. However, the respondents has issued notice to handover the vacant possession of the land alleging that the lands belongs to the respondent Board vide award dated 17.02.1982. The said award was challenged before this Court in WP.Nos.2880 of 1982 and 3335 of 1982 and the said writ petitions were allowed vide orders dated 17.03.1992 and 19.03.1992 respectively. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to re-convey or issue no objection certificate to petitioner's property at Plot No.2 of Sri Balaji Nagar admeasuring an extent of 4090 square feet comprised 2 / 4

in Survey No.223, Padikuppam, Chennai in pursuance to G.O.Ms.No.136 dated 10.10.2023, however, no action is forthcoming. Hence, seeks for a direction.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 07.12.2024 and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
