ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction directing the respondent authorities to conduct due verification and rectify the pay anomaly in respect of the petitioner (Employee code -537) by fixing his pay in Pay Level -7, with basic pay equal to or higher than that of his Junior, Mr. R. Selvam (Employee Code-539) in the cadre of Driver and to grant all consequential service and monetary benefits, including arrears of pay, re-fixation of pension and revision of pensionary benefits, if applicable arising from such rectification.

2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.05.2025 and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and giving him personal opportunity of hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
