JUDGMENT

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed against the award dated 15.07.2025 made in M.C.O.P.No.79 of 2018, on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal/Additional Subordinate Judge, Chengalpattu. 1/4

2. A joint memo of compromise has been filed by the appellant and the respondents, duly signed by the respective parties and their counsel. It is submitted that the parties arrived at an amicable settlement, pursuant to which the appellant has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.4,00,000/- to the respondents in full and final settlement of all claims. The respondents have agreed to receive the said amount in full and final satisfaction of the award and undertakes not to raise any further claim in respect of the same cause of action. The said memo of compromise is taken on recorded.

3. In view of the above, the said Memo of Compromise is recorded and the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms of the memorandum of compromise arrived at between the parties. The memorandum of compromise shall form part and parcel of this Order. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.

4. The Court fee paid by the appellant shall be refunded in accordance with law.
