O R D E R
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS in Crime No.146 of 2025 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused abused the defacto complainant using filthy language, on account of previous enmity; that thereafter, assaulted him using iron rod and other accused assaulted the defacto complainant using knife, due to which, the defacto complainant sustained cut injuries. Hence, this case. 3.
The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on account of previous enmity, there arouse a wordy quarrel between the petitioner and the defacto complainant, thereby both parties exchanged blows, hence a case in Crime No.145 of 2025 was registered by the respondent police against the defacto complainant based on the complaint given by A1; that in order to counter and retaliate, a false complaint has 2/4
been lodged by the defacto complainant against the petitioner and A1; that the injuries are simple injuries and the injured discharged from the hospital; and that the petitioner is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court, hence sought for anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent while opposing the anticipatory bail to the petitioner reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are totally two accused involved in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A2; that the petitioner has seven previous cases; that the injured discharged form the hospital; and that the investigation of this case is pending. 5.
Considering the submissions made on both sides, facts and circumstances of this case, gravity of offence, though it is stated that the injured discharged from the hospital, considering the previous antecedents of the petitioner and taking note of the fact that the investigation of the case is pending, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
