O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to to pay difference in surrendered leave salary for the month of May'2014, May'2015, May 2016, May'2017 and May'2018, the difference in salary for the last 11 days of retirement month, the leave salary for 15 days surrendered in May'2019 and the difference in Dearness Allowance for the period from July 2013 to 31.07.2023 together with interest at the rate of 10% per annum to the petitioner.

2. Ms.S.Pavithra, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of respondents 1 & 2. Mr.C.S.K.Sathish, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent.

3. The petitioner joined the service of the respondent corporation on 01.07.1985 and upon attaining superannuation, he was retired from service on 31.07.2023. It is the case of the petitioner that, after his retirement, he was not paid the correct terminal benefits such as difference in surrendered leave salary and Dearness Allowance and therefore, the petitioner submitted representations dated 07.04.2025 and 15.09.2025 to the 2nd respondent claiming the said benefits for the relevant period together with interest at the rate of 10% per annum. However, the said representations have not been considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondent concerned to consider the representation dated 07.04.2025 and 15.09.2025 of the petitioner within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents has no objection to the said order being passed.

6. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation dated 07.04.2025 and 15.09.2025 to the 3rd respondent 3/6

along with the copy of this order within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons if any, within a period of six (6) weeks thereafter.

7. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the aforesaid direction. No Costs.
