ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 01.10.2024, passed by this Court in a batch of Writ Petitions in W.P.No.10538 of 2024 etc., thereby quashing the impugned order dated 03.10.2023 and also directing the respondents to confer the petitioner with permanent status from the date of their completion of 480 days of service from the date of his joining with all service benefits except salary, within a period of four weeks.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that as against the said order passed by this Court dated 01.10.2024, the respondents preferred Writ Appeals in W.A.No.563 & 565 of 2026 and the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court by an order dated 26.02.2026, directed that there shall not be any coercive steps pursuant to the impugned orders.

In view of the above submission, at present, the Contempt Petition stands closed. The petitioner is at liberty to revive the contempt petition subject to the result of the Writ Appeal. 04.03.2026 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order rts
