ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. Mr.R.Venkatesa Perumal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice on behalf of the fourth respondent.

3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner has not made any representation to the authorities. Therefore, the petitioner will have to send a fresh representation to the authorities requesting for survey and demarcation of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. 4.No prejudice will be caused to the authorities, if they are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the authorities seeking for survey and demarcation of his property, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; (b) On receipt of such representation, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners, and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on

notice;

(c) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 2 and 3 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully descried in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks thereafter.

(d) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the third respondent, the fourth respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

No costs.
