ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to revise the petitioner's wages with effect 01.09.2016 based on the 13 th wage settlement dated 04.01.2018 and pay him the arrears of wages payable from 01.09.2016 to 31.05.2017, difference in Leave Salary and Gratuity along with the interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of entitlement till the date of actual disbursement within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2/5
2. The petitioner joined the service of the first respondent and retired from service on 31.05.2017. Thereafter, he submitted representation on 13.08.2025 seeking his retiral benefits which are stated supra. As the said representation has not been considered, till date, this writ petition has been filed with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the limited request sought for in this writ petition with regard to interest on the belated payment of terminal benefits, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.08.2025, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner is entitled for interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of settlemetn till the date of disbursement.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
