ORDER

All these writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the Tahsildar to deal with the online applications submitted by the petitioners, wherein, the petitioners are seeking for issuance of pattas/sub division pattas/transfer of pattas after conducting survey.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

15/23 3.In all these cases, the petitioners are relying upon certain title documents and also the earlier patta that was issued in the name of the predecessor in title or in the name of their family members. In some of the cases, except for the title documents, no patta is available. Under such circumstances, online applications has been submitted by the respective petitioners seeking for issuance of pattas/sub division pattas/transfer of pattas. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of this case, there shall be a direction to the concerned Tahsildar to deal with the online applications on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity to all interested parties and pass final orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5.This order will apply only to those cases where online applications has been made seeking for issuance of patta/sub division of patta/transfer of patta.

16/23 Even representation can be considered wherever such direction has been issued by the Collector to the Tahsildar when such applications have been submitted to the concerned District Collector during the Public Grievance Day. 6.The above order will not apply in cases where Civil Suits are pending between the parties and in such cases, it is left open to the Tahsildar to intimate the parties to workout their remedy before the Civil Court and depending upon the result of the case, to approach the Revenue Department seeking for issuance of pattas/sub division pattas/transfer of pattas. 7.All these writ petitions are disposed of in the above terms. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitioners are closed. 28-11-2025
