The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.62 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Court.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the investigation in Crime No.62 of 2023 has been completed and e-filing was made on 12.02.2025. However, the same has been returned citing the reason that the lab report has not been furnished along with the final report and the respondent Police are taking steps to re-present the same along with the lab report.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the respondent Police to represent the final report along with the lab report and take steps to get the final report numbered within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
