ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings dated 16.05.2024 issued by the 1st respondent, quash the same and consequently, directing the respondents to furnish all the attendant benefits to the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that while the petitioner working as a Junior Assistant in the office of the Joint Registrar No.2, Arakkonam on 19.03.2021, he was given additional charge in the post of Sub-Registrar and on the same day, a sale deed was presented for registration and due to the deficit of stamp duty, the document was registered as pending document and was referred under Section 47-A of the Registration At for deficit of stamp duty. While so, after three years, the 2nd respondent issued a show cause notice dated 24.01.2024 as if the petitioner violated the circular issued by the 1st respondent while registering the document and thereby, an enquiry officer appointed and drawn a proved minute and subsequently, the 1st respondent passed impugned termination order dated 16.05.2025, by imposing a punishment of dismissal from service. Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that as against the impugned termination order passed by the 1st respondent, there is an effective appeal remedy available before the competent authority. He would further submit that without availing the appeal remedy, filing writ petition before this Court is not a maintainable one. Accordingly, he prayed for dismissal of this writ petition.

In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate authority to avail the appeal remedy available for him and prefer an appeal within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such appeal is filed, the appellate authority shall consider and pass appropriate orders on the same, in accordance with law.
