ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 08.09.2025, seeking cancellation of patta for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, which is now standing in the name of the 4th respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since the aforesaid application has not been considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3.
4. No prejudice would be caused to any of the respondents, if the 2nd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.09.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent and also after hearing the objections, if any, from any third party as they deem fit, by holding a proper enquiry, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Accordingly, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation, dated 08.09.2025, seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 4th respondent for the property morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent and also after hearing the objection, if any, from any third party, the 2nd respondent deems fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
