st This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1 Respondent police to transfer the case in Crime No.546 of 2025 dated 21.06.2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police to some other competent investigating officer.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's daughter died in a suspicious circumstance. On the complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Crime No.546 of 2025 was registered by nd respondent under section 194(3) BNSS. During the enquiry, the the 2 petitioner came to know that one Rajesh who is a colleague of his daughter has got some involvement in her death. There is a suspicion that the said Rajesh has abetted the petitioner's daughter to commit suicide. The same was brought to the knowledge of the investigating officer by representation nd respondent has not considered the same dated 30.10.2025. However, the 2 2/5
and no investigation has been done with regard to the same, thereby contending that the investigation is not fair, the present petition has been filed to transfer the investigation.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that investigation is being done in a fair and proper manner and the respondents are taking every possible step to bring out the reasons and cause of death of the petitioner's daughter and due enquiry is being conducted.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents.
5. Taking into consideration the submission made, this Court is of the view that this case need not be transferred. Though, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Poonamallee is not added as a party to the proceedings, a direction is issued to the Assistant Commissioner of Police, nd respondent in Poonamallee to monitor the investigation done by the 2 3/5
Crime No.546 of 2025.
6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original petition stands disposed of.
