ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the Sale Deed dated 11.11.2025 and release the same to the petitioner.

2. Mr.Stalin Abhimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the subject property was purchased by the petitioner's vendor vide sale deed dated 03.08.2005. Being the absolute owner of the property, she executed a sale deed dated 11.11.2025 in favour of the petitioner. After the payment of necessary stamp duty and registration fee, she said sale deed was presented before the respondents for the purpose of registration. However, the 2nd respondent refused to register the said sale deed and kept it pending by stating a reason that a protest petition dated 27.07.2024 has been filed in respect of the subject property. Hence, this petition has been filed.

5. In reply, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's sale deed will be registered, if it is otherwise in order.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, initially, the subject property was purchased by the petitioner's vendor vide sale deed dated 03.08.2005. Being the absolute owner of the property, she executed a sale deed dated 11.11.2025 in favour of the petitioner. After the payment of necessary stamp duty and registration fee, she said sale deed was presented before the respondents for the purpose of registration. However, the 2nd respondent refused to register the said sale deed till date.

8. It was submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the sale deed dated 11.11.2025 will be registered, if it is otherwise in order.

9. In view of the above, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to register

the petitioner's sale deed dated 11.11.2025, forthwith, if it is otherwise in order.
