ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse the family pension to the petitioner on account of the death of her husband, based on the representation dated 18.10.2025. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3.The petitioner's husband was appointed as Cleaner in the third respondent Municipality on 01.04.2000 and he died on 29.05.2015. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking family pension and the same
was not considered by the respondents.
4.A perusal of the records reveals that already the petitioner was categorically informed, by a communication dated 08.03.2023, that the petitioner's husband name was not included in the beneficiary list for consideration of entitlement to family pension. It is also seen that the persons who were appointed on consolidated salary prior to 30.04.1997 and regularized before 01.04.2003 are entitled to all consequential benefits. However, the petitioner's husband name was not included in the said list and, therefore, the request made by the petitioner had already been rejected by the Assistant Director, Directorate of Local Fund Audit.
5.In view of the above, the representation submitted by the petitioner cannot be considered. Thus, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
