ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1, 3, 4 and 5 to consider and take action on the representation given by the petitioners dated 04.09.2025, in respect of dumping of garbage in the drainage system, which is causing serious risk to sanitation, public health and environment safety in the petitioner's village.

2. Learned State Counsel submits that the authorities would look into the complaint/ representation submitted by the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, and suitable action would be taken in

accordance with law.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 04.09.2025, within a period of eight weeks from today, and pass a reasoned and speaking order. There will be no order as to costs. WMP No.17369 of 2026, filed to allow the petitioners to file a single writ petition is allowed. (SUSHRUT ARVIND DHARMADHIKARI, CJ.)
