nature of Writ of Mandamus, praying to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2025 and 28.07.2025 made to the respondents 1 to 3 and appoint the Maha Thejo Mandalathar Sabha within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

ORDER
The petitioner claims to be a devotee of Swami Murugan and follows the Pamban Kumaragurudasa Swamigal sayings. The petitioner has given representations on 13.03.2025 and 28.07.2025 requesting the department to take action, in the light of the directions issued by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No.2191 of 2018. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the respondents have not taken any steps, despite the specific directions issued by the Division Bench of this Court as early as on 27.03.2024.
2.Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader, would firstly contended that the petitioner has no locus to seek for any enforcement of the directions issued by the Division Bench, as the directions are not concerning the petitioner in any manner. Secondly, he would state that pursuant to the directions issued by the Division Bench, enquiry has been conducted and orders have been reserved and orders are likely to be pronounced anytime soon. He would also bring to my notice that the judgment of the Division Bench was challenged before the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SPL (C) Nos.13980 - 13984 of 2024 and the Hon'ble Supreme Court dismissed the Special Leave Petition on 11.07.2024.
3.In view of the above developments, the petitioner need not have any apprehension regarding the compliance of the directions issued by the Hon'ble Division Bench. Recording the stand of the Government, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
