This petition is filed to condone the delay of 506 days in preferring the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

2. Mr. J. Michael Visuvasam, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent did not raise any objection in allowing this petition. Though the name of the 1st respondent is printed in the cause list after serving due notice, there is no representation on the side of the 1st respondent. This court is satisfied with the reasons attributed in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, this petition is ordered.

3. The Registry is directed to number the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is otherwise in order, print the name of the counsel for the 2nd respondent in the cause list and list the same in the ususal course.

4. It is made clear that the petitioner will not be entitled to any interest for the default period, if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
