The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.09 of 2013, pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent Police submitted that the case has been registered for the offences under Section 4(2)(c), 8(a), 3(1) of IT(P) Act for the occurrence which took place on 12.01.2013. Since the final report has been filed belatedly, the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Ulundurpet, by his order dated 17.02.2017 closed the case on the ground of limitation.

Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition stands closed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 03.12.2025 ssa To 1.
