ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to act upon the recommendation issued by the 3rd respondent dated 12.04.2023 by correcting the patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition by including the name of the legal heirs of Late V.Ravi as the owners for the property measuring 2.68 acres in Survey No.1641/21D2 in Gangaikondan Village, Tirunelveli District.
2. The petitioner is the wife of Late V.Ravi. According to her, Late V.Ravi was the owner of the larger extent of land measuring 5 acres and odd. According to the petitioner, only a portion of the land measuring 5 acres was acquired through land acquisition and the balance land measuring 2.68 acres was still under the ownership of Late V.Ravi. the death of the said Ravi, the petitioner claims that she and other legal heirs of Late V.Ravi are now the owners of 2.68 acres in Survey No.1641/21D2. The petitioner claims that as early as on 12.04.2023, the 3rd respondent has recommended to the 2nd respondent for rectification of patta to disclose that an extent of 2.68 acres in Survey No.1641/21D2 is in possession of the legal heris of Late V.Ravi. Since the said recommendation according to the petitioner has not been implemented by the 2nd respondent till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.Ramesh Venkatachalapathy, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the 4th respondent.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation seeking correction of the patta to include the legal heirs of Late V.Ravi as patta holders for an extent of 2.68 acres in Survey No.1641/21D2 in Gangaikondan Village, Tirunelveli District, is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, based on the alleged recommendation said to have Page No.3 of 6
been made by the 3rd respondent on 12.04.2023. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation requesting for correcting of the patta as prayed for in this writ petition for an extent of 2.68 acres in Survey No.1641/21D2 in Gangaikondan Village, Tirunelveli District by including the names of the legal heirs of Late V.Ravi as patta holders for the said property, after giving due consideration to the alleged recommendation said to have been made by the 3rd respondent, dated 12.04.2023, within a period of four (4) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
