ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.5,61,912/- towards gratuity and Rs.2,100/- as security deposit, together with interest by considering the petitioner's representation 13.10.2025.

2. The petitioner served as Salesman in the respondent Society and retired from service on 31.05.2023. It is the grievance of the petitioner that gratuity amount of Rs.5,61,912/- as well as a sum of Rs.2,100/- towards Security Deposit have not been settled to the petitioner, subsequent to his retirement. Therefore, he submitted a representation before the respondents on 13.10.2025, which evoked no response. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the limited request sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.10.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a 2/4

copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioner is entitled for interest at the rate of 6% for the aforesaid belated payments.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
